Send it to me so that I can update it now!” The sent item won’t return, much less be “updated” – and AJHQ rarely updates items. The scammer will claim to be a new staff member in AJHQ then say, “There is a new update coming up for your. The “AJHQ Staff Member” Scam: another scam that has no true value if you pay attention.

Trade your for my and I’ll give it to you.” Even if the member in question doesn’t lie as “code” scammers often do, they will be unable to tell the code because even safe (“free”) chat will block anything relating to a credit-card transaction. A member will ask non-members to go to their den there, they tell them, “I have an extra membership/snow leopard/lion/diamond code.

  • The “Membership/Snow Leopard/Lion/Diamond Code” Scam: a terrible scam focusing mainly on non-members.
  • The scammer will have no clothes items on, and no den decorations (or a locked den) they often will do the “” action or “” emoji, saying, “I am so poor! Trade me and make me feel better!” or, “I got scammed of all my items! Send me things to make up for it!” In reality, however, “poor” players often have thousands of gems, and “scammed” players own countless rare items.
  • The “I’m Poor” or “I Got Scammed” Scam: strictly speaking, not a scam, but still a lie that cheats people out of their items.
  • The very similar “Best Send Wins” usually is along the lines of, “Best gift wins my ! I return all other gifts!” Of course, neither a return nor a prize will be coming to the victims. Occasionally, players actually hold to their promises, but more likely the victim will get nothing back at all. The scammer will ask the victim to gift one of their items to them, claiming that they will send it back/change its color/send back a better item.
  • The “Sending War” or “Best Send Wins” Scam: a less common scam, usually attacking only one player.
  • This scam is very easy to recognize, but very easy to fall for, too. While they do typically decline at least a few trades, when a tempting enough offer comes along, they will quickly accept and run to their locked den (of course, not giving the promised prize, either). They then proclaim, “Trust me!” or, “I decline all!”, often adding, “Best trust/decline gets my !” – inviting people to offer them valuable items for their necklace, and “trusting” that they will decline the trade. A scammer will put a worthless, cheap item – usually a necklace or plushie – on their trade list. This scam can target many users, or just one.
